Electric mobility at Woco
Diesel-gate, limit values for CO2 emissions, particle emissions, fleet fuel consumption, sustainability and zero emissions.
We have all become familiar with these buzzwords. The potential effects and the impact on climate and health are the at times controversial topics of discussion across all ages and expert groups alike. This is an area of interest where Woco would like to take part in the solution-finding process to make a contribution to sustainability and to reducing the impact on the environment.
Based on the longstanding collaboration with globally active automakers and tier-one companies, Woco will successfully transfer the knowledge gained from combustion engine drive systems to new electric drive technologies. This basic knowledge in conjunction with a high potential for innovation enables Woco to break new ground together with its customers to find new solutions for functions and processes and to ensure that these become established in the market.
Woco supports the development of electric drive systems both with solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles, and especially regarding fuel cell technology. Whereby the focus with hybrid and electric vehicles is primarily on thermal management, noise vibration harshness (NVH) and sealing technology,
- the field of activity regarding hydrogen vehicles revolves around the development of components relevant to supply air systems and exhaust systems,
- Anode water separators and the
- decoupling of assemblies.
For all development fields, Woco will use its in-house expertise for developing elastomer and polymer materials.
