OEM & Suppliers
OEMs must commit to the regulations and only use suppliers who help them to do so. In the automotive industry, suppliers are expected to address ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues as part of their business operations.
This is now seen as a necessary and responsible approach for all business activities.
The reason for this is that ESG factors can have a significant impact on the sustainability and competitiveness of the entire supply chain. This obliges the OEM suppliers in turn to oblige their own suppliers - i.e. the suppliers' suppliers - to comply with the regulations.
Ambitious sustainability goals can only be achieved if they are supported by all units and levels of a company. At WOCO, the entire team is committed to sustainability and drives developments in the individual functional areas.
